BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF TOLEDO APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Longtime Club Director Ryan Geske named Director of Operations

Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo (BGCT) recently appointed Ryan Geske as the new Director of Operations. Geske has worked for the Clubs for 18 years, most recently having held a position as Senior Club Director at the Homer Hanham Club.

“The Clubs are very fortunate to have someone as talented, passionate and committed to improving our Club members’ lives as Ryan Geske. He truly embodies the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs. His focus on safety and elevating the operational performance of our Clubs is essential,” said Jim Ravas, President & CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo.

Geske began his career with BGCT in 2003 as an Assistant Club Director and has held the positions of Club Director and Senior Club Director prior to his appointment as Director of Operations. In his new role, he will oversee and seek to recruit and retain membership levels, ensure adequate staffing, and see that the Clubs return to full operational status.

“I am looking forward to leading the Clubs’ operations as we continue taking steps forward towards returning to our normal programming and operations model. Growing our membership and reaching more of Toledo’s youth makes for an exciting future. Having the opportunity to lead with the opening of our fifth Club location, The Schoenrock Family Club, in partnership with First Tee- Lake Erie within The Dattilo Family Youth Leadership Center is an exciting and inspiring step for the organization,” said Geske.

Geske’s family began at the Clubs where he met his wife. He proposed to her on a Club ice skating field trip. They have three children ages six, eight, and 12.
