South Toledo Club will close in preparation for move to new location at Marshall School
The South Toledo Boys & Girls Club, located in the Aurora Gonzalez Building will be closing at the end of the day on January 14. The new Marshall School and Carson Family Boys & Girls Club is expected to open for students and members on Tuesday, February 21.
The new Club will have a fully equipped Games Room and will share space with the school to provide a full range of program services. The Club will include Arts & Crafts, Computer Technology, Educational Activities Center, Power Hour Homework Help, Athletics, Goal Setting, Leadership Clubs, and many interesting field trips.
During the period that the South Club is closed, all members are welcome at any of our other Clubs. Since Marshall School is a K-8 building, we will be offering programs to youngsters ages 7 through 14. High school teens are welcome at our Detroit Avenue and East Toledo locations.
The new Club at Marshall School is named in honor of Sam and Alice Carson and their family. The Carsons were long time supporters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo and their generous financial support has made this new Club possible.
