Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo Welcomes Candice Dunn as
Director of Annual Giving & Donor Engagement

TOLEDO — Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo is pleased to announce that Candice Dunn will join the organization as Director of Annual Giving & Donor Engagement, effective Aug. 17.


Candice brings a strong record of nonprofit advancement, donor stewardship, and relationship development to the organization. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to building authentic partnerships that inspire generosity, strengthen philanthropy, and create lasting impact throughout the community.


In her new role, Candice will oversee the organization's annual giving strategy while cultivating meaningful relationships with individual donors, volunteers, corporate partners, and community leaders. Her work will focus on expanding philanthropic investment in Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo, strengthening donor engagement, and advancing the organization's long-term Mission of ensuring every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential.


Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo, Candice served on the Development team at the Toledo Museum of Art, where she led donor stewardship initiatives, annual giving efforts, membership engagement, and special events. Her fundraising philosophy is grounded in thoughtful relationship-building and the conviction that every philanthropic investment represents a partnership in changing lives.


A proud Northwest Ohio native with deep Toledo roots, Candice was drawn to Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo because of its unwavering commitment to helping young people succeed and strengthening the communities it serves. She believes philanthropy is most effective when it unites individuals around a common purpose and creates opportunities that benefit generations to come.


Candice earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ohio University. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, volunteering in Kids Ministry at her church, and spending time with family and friends. She especially treasures time with her young son, whose curiosity and enthusiasm continually reinforce the importance of investing in the next generation.
